Dried Apple Oat Muesli
Ingredients:
- oatmeal
- Dried apples
- Chopped nuts (e.g. almonds, walnuts)
- Raisins or other dried fruits
- Yoghurt or milk
- Honey or maple syrup
Directions:
- In a bowl, mix together oatmeal, dried apples, chopped nuts and raisins.
- Serve with yoghurt or milk and sweeten with honey or maple syrup.
Autumn salad with dried apples
Ingredients:
- Mixed leaf salads (e.g. rocket, lamb’s lettuce)
- Dried apples
- Walnuts or pecans
- Goat cheese or blue cheese
- Vinaigrette dressing (olive oil, vinegar, mustard, honey, salt, pepper)
Directions:
- Arrange the lettuce leaves on plates.
- Sprinkle thinly sliced dried apples, nuts and cheese on top.
- Drizzle with vinaigrette dressing and serve.
Dried Apple Pancakes
Ingredients:
- Pancake batter of your choice
- Coarsely chopped dried apples
- Cinnamon
- Maple syrup or powdered sugar (for serving)
Directions:
- Prepare the pancake batter and fry it in a pan.
- Sprinkle roughly chopped dried apples and a pinch of cinnamon over the pancakes.
- Garnish with maple syrup or powdered sugar and serve.
